This is visual development for an ongoing personal project. It focuses on a shiba inu dog named Katsu who inherits a sushi restaurant without warning, and has to work hard to become the best sushi chef he can be! Here are some visual development pieces included in the project so far. As an objective, I would love to take this further and create a short film or game someday. I created this in Adobe Photoshop CC. It began with the idea of combining my favorite things: I grew up with a shiba inu as a family pet and I found a new love for sushi a few years ago. For this project, it was very important to make sure I keep each aspect unified in theme, color scheme, and mood. I use lasso tool with texture brush to create my pieces, along with adjustment layers and blur effect to enhance atmospheric mood.
