Almost Autumn

This is a piece about reminiscing. Sometimes memories feel like dreams, and when I reflect back on school it feels like it was a different lifetime. In time we grow, leaving our memories in the past yet become better versions of ourselves, which is what I wanted to communicate through this piece. I created this piece using Adobe Photoshop CC 2019. My process begins with a mood/idea. I first sketch a thumbnail to get composition correct. I then create linework & a color rough, which allows me to paint the finish quicker. To create atmospheric mood, I use adjustment layers and blur tools. My style features textured brushwork paired with lasso tool.
